Furniture by -S.
The legs and other stickwork is normally made out of Mountain Laurel. This species is quite hard with a very fine grain, and a unique growth habit which makes it useful for this purpose. Furniture made from this wood is most often finished with the bark left on, which has a pleasing look, yet over time it can start to lightly shed and the cracks in the bark can collect dust and be hard to clean. The bark can be stripped and finished which results in a highly finished and more refined look.
